How does ChatGPT write its answers?
A chatbot like ChatGPT writes its answer one small piece at a time. For each piece it guesses what most likely comes next, using odds it learned from huge amounts of text. Then it adds that piece and guesses again. A whole answer is many guesses in a row.

What are tokens in AI?
Tokens are the pieces a model reads and writes instead of words. Before the model sees your text, a tokenizer cuts it into tokens, and each token has an id: a number from a fixed list. Common words are often one token; rare or long words are split into smaller pieces. Models count, bill and remember in tokens.

How do I write a good prompt?
Most good prompts have 3 parts. A role says who is answering. A task says what to do. A format says what the answer should look like. The model continues whatever text you give it, so your prompt works like a program: change one part and the answer changes.
